Personal Biography.
Hailing from Wisconsin, I moved to San Diego County with my mother when I was five years old. We moved frequently, and as a result, I attended six schools before finishing 8th grade. Nonetheless, I enjoyed learning and did well in school. More difficult was making friends, so I learned to be self-sufficient and I found enjoyment in reading books while listening to music. Although I was still very much a loner in high school, I did participate in some clubs and served as a Peer Counselor for two years. After high school, I moved to Riverside County for college and I have been here ever since.
I am blessed to have my mother and sister nearby. My brother and his family live in Colorado, so I visit there frequently. I have four "kids" at home... one of the 4-legged, barking variety, and three cats. I have two nieces and a nephew with whom I love to spend time, and I cherish time with my "6-hour kids".
As important as my work is to me, I relish my time off. I enjoy traveling, especially if it takes me to the mountains or the ocean. I love getting out for long rides on my bicycle or taking my dogs kayaking. I like to challenge myself with new activities or endeavors, so I continue to sign up for races or fun events, and I strive to constantly learn new things.
